About

Oluwaremilekun obtained her Ph.D. from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. She joined the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, Adekunle Ajasin University as a lecturer and researcher in 2019. Following the completion of her postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Health, USA in 2023, she started her independent research laboratory at her the Adekunle Ajasin University. Her researcher centers on molecular epidemiology, parasitology and pathogen genomics of neglected tropical diseases.

Ifeoluwa Olabode is a molecular biologist. She is actively involved in projects on molecular diagnostics, parasitology, and population genetics, with a focus on schistosomiasis and soil transmitted helminthiasis. She is also a PhD student at the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, Adekunle Ajasin University.

About

Ola Esther M. holds a B.Sc. degree in Environmental Biology and Fisheries and an M.Sc. degree in Applied Parasitology. Esther is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in applied parasitology and conducts her research at the Laboratory of Molecular Parasitology and Genomics of Neglected Tropical Diseases. Her research focuses broadly on neglected tropical diseases, with emphasis on molecular parasitology, pathogen genomics, and epidemiology. She is a recipient of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) Early Career Grant.

Dogari Darius Daniel is a molecular biologist whose research interests are focused on parasitology and the molecular mechanisms of host–parasite interactions. He is currently conducting his PhD at the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology. His PhD research is focused on developing a genotyping assay for Cryptospordium and evaluating the knowledge and perceptions of health care workers regarding the parasite
